New Book: Organizing Nature
June 2023: Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Biro and Acadia colleague Dr. Alice Cohen on the publication of their new book, Organizing Nature: Turning Canada’s Ecosystems into Resources! The book explores how the environment is organized in Canada’s resource-dependent economy and considers how particular ecosystem components come to be understood as natural resources and how these resources in turn are used to organize life in Canada.
